Light, Water, Vibe: The Only Indoor Plant Guide You Actually Need

Light, Water, Vibe: The Only Indoor Plant Guide You Actually Need

There are a million plant care videos out there. Most of them will have you checking soil pH and misting on a schedule. We're not doing all that.

Here's the short version.

Light Most houseplants want bright, indirect light. That means near a window but not baking in direct sun. South or east-facing windows are usually solid. No window? Look into a simple grow light.

Water The number one way people kill plants is overwatering. Before you water, stick your finger an inch into the soil. Dry? Water it. Still damp? Leave it alone. That's the whole system.

Vibe (aka humidity + temperature) Most indoor plants come from tropical climates. They like the same temps you do. Keep them away from air vents and cold drafts. If your home runs dry in winter, a small humidifier or a pebble tray with water nearby helps.

That's it. Light, water, vibe. You've got this.
